Athletic Club pair left out of squad to face Real Valladolid | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Athletic Club will be forced to make do without two important players in the club’s next outing.

This comes amid confirmation that both Iñaki Williams and Oihan Sancet have been left out of Ernesto Valverde’s travelling squad to face Real Valladolid.

Athletic are set to return to action on Sunday evening, when they make the trip to the Estadio José Zorrilla for a La Liga meeting with the aforementioned Valladolid.

The Basques will head into proceedings hopeful of building on a midweek Europa League downing of Ludogorets.

As alluded to above, though, in efforts towards as much, Athletic will be without the services of two key performers, in Iñaki Williams and Oihan Sancet.

In the case of the former, Los Leones confirmed this evening that he is dealing with ‘an overload in the hamstring muscles of his left leg’.

Midfielder Sancet, meanwhile, is still suffering with the effects of an ankle problem picked up against Real Betis last weekend.
