Athletic Club handed triple injury boost before Valencia | OneFootball

Athletic Club have late this week been afforded a timely series of boosts on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that three members of the Basque club’s attacking ranks were back in the thick of things in training on Friday.

The players in question? Williams brothers Nico and Iñaki Williams, and summer signing Álvaro Djaló.

Attackers Nico and Iñaki have spent the last couple of weeks on the treatment table, owing to respective groin and muscular issues.

Djaló, meanwhile, was forced to sit out against Getafe in midweek, owing to a bout of illness.

As confirmed by Mundo Deportivo, though, all three were given the green light to join the rest of Ernesto Valverde’s squad in group training on Friday.

The trio, in turn, are expected to be cleared to face Valencia this coming Sunday evening.

MD, in fact, go as far as to claim:

‘Valverde could have the entire squad available to play against Valencia.’
