Aston Villa and Adidas have teamed up with legendary rock band Black Sabbath to unveil a limited edition kit and Predator boot design.
Led by iconic signer Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath are one of the best-selling bands of all-time and, famously, fans of the Villa.
And now, after their kit unveiling earlier this season, Osbourne and the Villa Park club have united again for this unique kit and boot collaboration.
In a statement on the club's website, Villa revealed: "The custom version of the Predator 24 boot was hand-painted by artist Jordan Dawson, who drew inspiration from the iconic albums from the band as well as their live shows that made them one of the most popular bands of all time. Together, they encapsulate Black Sabbath’s aesthetic through a colour palette that embodies the band’s signature style, creating a striking, cohesive visual."
Osbourne meanwhile said: "My absolute favourite colours in the world have always been purple and black. It’s been Black Sabbath colours for over 50 years. Tony, Geezer, Bill and I look at this as a huge honour. UP THE VILLA!!"
The Predator boots will be worn by Yacine Award winner Emi Martinez for the upcoming fixtures whilst the Black Sabbath kit will make its bow against Crystal Palace later this evening.
