This past summer, Paris Saint-Germain considered several options to boost their attack for the 2024-25 season, with Aston Villa’s Jhon Durán on their list of targets.
In October, Eduardo Burgos of Diario AS revealed that both Bayern Munich and PSG made offers for Durán during the summer transfer window, but Aston Villa rejected them. Manager Unai Emery views the young forward as a future star.
PSG and Bayern Munich are not alone in their interest, though. A recent report from Fichajes suggests that Arsenal and Barcelona are also monitoring the Colombian forward ahead of the 2025 transfer windows.

Napoli are reportedly preparing a bid for Durán, according to the Italian newspaper Il Mattino (h/t The Mirror). The Serie A club are looking for a partner to support Romelu Lukaku and believes Durán is the right choice.
They’ve already been in touch with the Colombian striker’s representatives, but Villa’s €40 million (£33 million) valuation could complicate the move.
Durán is under contract until 2030 and has a transfer value of €35 million per Transfermarkt. Nonetheless, that amount should be increasing considering the player’s performance this season as he’s scored ten goals in 23 appearances across all competitions.
