With his first two games in the books, Roma forward Artem Dovbyk spoke about his new adventure in the Italian capital.
After becoming La Liga’s top goalscorer with Girona last season, the Ukrainian left the Spaniards and joined the Giallorossi earlier this month in a transfer deal worth an estimated €38 million.
“I know that Roma is a great club, with a rich history and fantastic fans,” Dovbyk told Sky Sport. “The atmosphere at the Olimpico is different and you feel it.”
“Having been top scorer in La Liga is very important, it is an award that gives me a lot of confidence, I will try to win it here in Italy too.”
“It will be a great adventure because I am a striker like [Andriy] Shevchenko, who did well in Italy. I want to do the same and demonstrate my value on the pitch.”
