Wolverhampton Wanderers have secured Matheus Cunha on a long-term deal, even after heavy interest from other clubs during the winter transfer window.
Still, talk about his future hasn’t gone away. Cunha has become a central piece for Wolves, shining across multiple attacking positions and consistently making an impact.
According to Fichajes, the Brazilian has been effective whether deployed as an attacking midfielder, second striker, or center-forward—versatility that’s reportedly drawn interest from big clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain.
While Wolves clearly value him highly, reports suggest they could be willing to listen to offers north of €70 million. Sky Sports News had previously reported that Nottingham Forest put in a club-record bid of around £60 million for him in January.

Football Insider reports that Nottingham Forest are ready to break their transfer record to sign Cunha. The 25-year-old, who has a £62.5m release clause, is expected to leave Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer.
With speculation mounting about his potential move, Cunha recently spoke out about his future, hinting that a summer departure could be likely.
“I had a lot of offers but I wouldn’t feel well if I had done it,” Cunha told The Guardian. “Some things you can’t control but I couldn’t leave the club in the middle of the season, in a difficult situation, in the relegation zone.
“Now, we’re close to achieving our goal [of staying up]. But I’ve made it clear that I need to take the next step. I want to fight for titles, for big things. I have potential.”
