Arsenal name squad for USA tour | OneFootball

Arsenal have named their squad for the upcoming pre-season tour of the USA, with Takehiro Tomiyasu a notable absentee.

The Gunners face fellow Premier League trio Bournemouth (24 July), Manchester United (27 July) and Liverpool (1 August) in their time across the Atlantic.

They have named a strong squad that includes new signing Tommy Setford as well as several young talents including Ethan Nwaneri, Salah-Eddine and Charles Sagoe Jr.

"Due to their progression in Copa America and the Euros, Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz will join the squad from July 25."

"Meanwhile those players involved in the latter stages of Euro 2024 - Declan Rice, Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka, David Raya and William Saliba - will link up with their teammates upon our return from America."

"Kieran Tierney (hamstring) and Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee) will remain in London to receive treatment from our medical staff at Sobha Realty Training Centre", the club confirmed.
