Reports claim Arsenal have a made a big bid for long-term striker target Benjamin Sesko.
Spanish news outlet Fijaches claim Arsenal have offered €70 million to RB Leipzig for the 21-year-old.
Hayters TV, however, understands that a deal for Sesko is unlikely to happen this month because of RB Leipzig’s significant demands.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail say midfielder Sverre Nypan arrived in London on Sunday night for talks with Arsenal.
Manchester City are also said to be interested in the 18-year-old prodigy, who currently plays in his native Norway with Rosenborg.
Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund also remain interested in signing Oleksandr Zinchenko from Arsenal this week, according to Sky Sports.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Alexander Isak remains Arsenal’s “dream” striker signing but says Newcastle will not sell him this month.
Elsewhere, Sky Sports say Chelsea defender Renato Veiga has arrived in Italy ahead of completing his loan move to Juventus.
Romano also reports it is going to be a “busy week” for Chelsea ahead of the transfer window closing, with the Blues keen on signing Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel.
Chelsea defender Axel Disasi could be set for a move away, however, with journalist Pete O’Rourke reporting that Aston Villa are keen on a loan move.
Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen is also a target for Chelsea, Romano says, with the 19-year-old reportedly having a release clause inserted into his contact this summer.
Manchester United are set to make a third bid for Lecce’s Patrick Dorgu but the Serie A club’s president, Sticchi Damiani, says the club are trying to “resist” United’s interest.
Dorgu signing would allow Tyrell Malacia to go out on loan this window, Sky Sports add.
The Daily Mail claim Bayer Leverkusen have held talks with Man City over a move for attacking midfielder James McAtee this month.
Borussia Dortmund, Stuttgart and Mainz are also said to be interested in the 22-year-old.
