Arsenal have finalised and announced the signing of Noni Madueke from Chelsea.
Per previous reports, the two clubs agreed a £52m package for Madueke’s transfer, with £48m as a guaranteed payment and another £4m in potential performance-related add-ons.
Madueke has signed a five-year deal with the Gunners, leaving Chelsea’s Club World Cup camp early to wrap things up. The player confirmed his Chelsea departure on Instagram ahead of Arsenal’s official announcement, thanking them for the last three years.

After the move was confirmed, Mikel Arteta said: “We’re all so happy to welcome Noni Madueke to the team.
“Noni is an exciting and powerful young player, with his performances and numbers in recent seasons being of consistently high quality. He is one of the most talented wide forward players in the Premier League.”
Andrea Berta added: “We’re very pleased to have concluded an excellent deal for a hugely talented young player in Noni Madueke.
“Noni’s performance numbers and availability over recent seasons have been exceptional, reflecting his quality and professionalism. Noni is a dynamic, versatile wide forward player with strong technical ability who will significantly strengthen our squad.”
Madueke said: “I’m somebody who goes with my gut feeling a lot of the time and I feel like it’s steered me in the right direction so far. So, I don’t think it’s going to be any different here. I think it’s going to be a great success and I’m really happy to be here.
“I’m very happy, very excited to get to work. I’ll go on holiday for a little bit now, but I can’t wait to get back and meet all the boys and train.”

23-year-old Madueke made 92 appearances for Chelsea in total, and he racked up 16 goals and assists in his final campaign with the club in 2024/25. He also made his England debut last September, going on to make seven appearances throughout the year.
Before Chelsea, Madueke spent time with PSV Eindhoven, having played for Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur as an academy player.
The winger is Arsenal’s third signing from Chelsea this summer, having also signed goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and youth prospect Marcell Washington.
