Erik ten Hag and Antony could be reunited at Bayer Leverkusen according to reports.

Germany-based journalist Florian Plettenberg speculates that with Florian Wirtz nearing an exit to Liverpool, Leverkusen could turn to Antony to restrengthen their attacking output.

Real Betis have been publicly keen to keep Antony at the club after the Brazilian showed some of his old form in Spain, scoring nine goals and assisting six in 26 games for Betis.

However, the finances will be difficult for Betis especially with Manchester United looking to raise funds with outgoings.

One solution could be Leverkusen and a reunion with former United and Ajax boss Ten Hag, especially with the money raised from the impending sale of Wirtz.

Indeed, Antony put in stellar numbers during his stint at Ajax, scoring 25 and assisting 21 goals in just 82 games.
