After being linked with an exit from Roma, Angelino appears to have made a decision on his future.
In fact, the Spaniard is leaning towards staying at Roma and trying to convince new Giallorossi boss Gian Piero Gasperini to rely on him for next season.
After receiving several offers to move to the Middle East, the Spanish full-back decided not to listen to them, demonstrating his desire to continue in Giallorossi and try to earn space within the new technical project that is currently underway.
Having arrived in the capital in January 2024, Angelino settled in quickly, finding a new home in Roma after numerous experiences around the world – from England to Germany, passing through Holland and the United States.
The possibility of leaving the club was concrete, but the full-back preferred to stay and play his chances, even at the cost of adapting to new tactical demands or a different role than in the past.
According to Corriere dello Sport, his goal is clear: to convince Gasperini to bet on him. A task that is far from simple, considering the coach’s demanding system, which requires intensity, discipline and versatility. But Angelino seems ready for the challenge.
