Speaking to Archie Rind-Tutt following Hoffenheim’s 5-0 loss to Bayern Munich on Wednesday evening, Andrej Kramaric provided his thoughts on the club’s current situation.
When asked about the team’s performance on Wednesday evening, Kramaric said:
“It was clear from the start that this was going to happen, this is the picture of the whole season, this is one big shit season, I’m going to be honest. I’m still soft as if I want to say the truth and somethings which are on my mind about the club and the current situation, I would probably get the biggest punishment in the history of the Bundesliga.”
The club’s record goalscorer then provided his opinion on the club’s current situation away from the pitch:
“We invest so much money for nothing.”
In the past two windows, Hoffenheim have spent a total of €66m with Adam Hlozek being their most expensive arrival for €18m. While in this window, Gift Orban joined from Lyon.
Kramaric would then add:
“Obviously nothing is working since some things changed in the club and there is a reason I’m still soft today, maybe in the future I’m going to be a little bit more harder.” “This is the first time in my life in my football career that I feel like this because I feel like a big shit in the club and if nobody is going to try to change this, I will try to change this.”
Kramaric remained quiet about what he thinks needs to change at the Sinsheim club.
“When I start to talk everybody is going to listen”
Hoffenheim are currently 16th in the Bundesliga and are already on their second coach of the season. Despite qualifying for the Europa League last season their problems were obvious from the summer when Alexander Rosen and a host of other directors at the club left. After an interim period, Hoffenheim would then raid Sturm Graz for their sporting director and later manager Christian Ilzer.
Hoffenheim’s next game will be a relegation six-pointer against a Holstein Kiel side that will have a lot of confidence after their 4-2 win against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday evening.
