Italy and Fiorentina star Moise Kean’s contract with the Tuscans includes a release clause worth €52m, which is not valid in the January transfer window.
The Italian striker is the second-best scorer in Serie A this season, with eight goals in 12 appearances.
During a recent interview with Sky Sport Italia, Fiorentina director Alessandro Ferrari confirmed that the ex-Juventus forward’s deal at the Stadio Franchi includes a €52m clause, valid for Serie A and foreign clubs.
FirenzeViola reported that Kean’s clause is only valid until July 31 and can’t be activated during the winter transfer window.

“He wanted this guarantee, and we wanted him at all costs,” said Ferrari.
“If he wants to leave, he must give the green light.”
This doesn’t mean Kean will leave the Stadio Franchi anytime soon.
Not only does his contract runs out in 2029, but in a recent interview with The Athletic, Kean said that he was happy at his new club and that “many things” had changed after a permanent summer transfer from Juventus.
Kean, 24, has already scored 11 goals in 14 appearances across all competitions with Fiorentina this season.
Luciano Spalletti called him up for Italy’s games against France and Belgium in November.
However, Kean only made two appearances as a substitute, playing 45 minutes of football during the latest international break.
