Al-Ahli announce the signing of Édouard Mendy

Édouard Mendy has been officially unveiled as an Al-Ahli player after completing his move from Chelsea.

The Senegal international fell out of favour as Chelsea keeper during the 2022/23 season, and has now pounced on the opportunity to join a growing list of European stars heading to Saudi Pro League.

The 31-year-old made 105 appearances for the Premier League outfit over three seasons, helping the Blues win the Champions League, UEFA Supercup, and the FIFA Club World Cup.

Mendy will join fellow Chelsea teammates N’Golo Kanté, Hakim Ziyech, and Kalidou Koulibaly in making the move to Saudi Arabia.
