Di Gregorio moved to Juventus from Monza last summer after being named as the Best Serie A Goalkeeper for the 2023-24 campaign.

He played a key role in the Bianconeri’s 2-0 win over Manchester City on Wednesday, producing two fantastic saves on Erling Haaland and Ilkay Gundogan.

“Surely, Manchester City fans will remember his saves for a long time,” the goalkeeper’s agent told Tuttosport.

“We said no to Liverpool in the summer to join the Juventus project.

“He’s working hard to improve continuously,” continued Belloni.

“He set up a gym at home so he can train on his days off. He has an incredible mentality, and his desire is to be part of a Juventus side that rewrites history and wins important trophies.”

Di Gregorio, 27, has kept nine clean sheets in 15 appearances across all competitions with Juventus this season, conceding just ten goals.

In October, he was called up for the first time to Italy’s national team, but he was benched in games against Belgium and Israel. He has yet to make his senior debut with La Nazionale.

A former Inter academy player, the 27-year-old signed a contract until 2028 with Juventus, completing a €14m transfer from Monza last summer.
