This evening, AC Milan have revealed the new 125th anniversary shirt that will be worn against Genoa later this month, and it is certainly a way to commemorate the occasion.
There have been suggestions that a special kit would celebrate Milan’s anniversary for several months now, and tonight, the shirt has finally been unveiled to the public, although leaks have shown us a pretty good idea of what it would look like.
Reports leading up to the game against Genoa have suggested what plans the club have got in place for the occasion, and there has even been contact with Paolo Maldini to see him return to the club to celebrate the club.
Without a doubt though, the centre piece of it all will be the shirt, and this evening, at the flagship store in Via Dante, the Rossoneri dedicated an event to the fans to unveil the shirt, allowing them to see it in the flesh after ‘record-breaking’ online sales.
The news about the sales will only be seen as another positive by the club, who have consistently been impressing this season with commercial success, and the excitement about the new shirt only serves as another reminder how big the Milan ‘brand’ and club is, if anyone needed one.
