Abdulahi Shino returns home

Abdulahi Shino's brief spell away has come to an end. The 19-year-old Somali forward is heading back to GIF Sundsvall just weeks after being loaned out to Torslanda IK.

Shino, who joined Torslanda on loan on July 25, never got the chance to make an official appearance for the club. The loan was cut short by mutual agreement, as confirmed by sporting director Joel Cedergren:

The loan didn't go as planned. But we're happy to welcome him back into our squad.

Developed at Lucksta IF and turning pro with Sundsvall this spring, Abdulahi Shino remains one of Somali football's brightest prospects. Quick, technically gifted, and capable of playing across the front line, he now has the chance to reignite his career in familiar surroundings.
