Former Chelsea striker Tore Andre Flo has revealed question marks about the attitude and personality of Victor Osimhen are a worry to him.

The Blues are set for another busy summer as they look to sign a striker, centre back and right footed attacker to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad.

Chelsea face a critical window and could look to fund their transfer business by selling as many as seven or eight players.

Flo has Osimhen concerns

The main priority for Chelsea is a striker, and they’ve paid the price for not signing an alternative to Nicolas Jackson last summer or in January.

Chelsea spent the majority of last summer pursuing Osimhen but couldn’t agree a deal for the Nigeria international, who opted to join Galatasaray on loan instead.

Former striker Flo has shared his thoughts and admitted question marks about Osimhen’s attitude and personality would be a worry for him.

“I really want the players Chelsea already have to really, really work for the team, be good team players,” he said as cited on X.com.

“That’s what Chelsea need. Rightly or wrongly, there are some question marks about Osimhen’s attitude and personality. That would be a worry for me.”

Chelsea have other striker targets

Osimhen along with Victor Gyokeres is one of two strikers available this summer who take Chelsea to another, level but the Blues could struggle to land either.

Chelsea have alternative targets and have been strongly linked with Liam Delap, who they are believed to be leading the race for.

Bundesliga duo Benjamin Sesko and Hugo Ekitike are also said to be on shortlist, whilst there’s been links to Strasbourg’s Emmanuel Emegha.

Whoever the Blues end up signing, it’s vital they get the decision right as getting it wrong could really hamper their progress next season.
