‘A special relationship with Hansi Flick’ – Bayern Munich star back in Barcelona’s sights | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona are once again keeping a close eye on developments surrounding the future of Bayern Munich star Leroy Sané.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Saturday provided an insight into the situation.

It is of course common knowledge that Barcelona are on the lookout for reinforcements out wide with a view to next season.

A shortlist of options has long been drawn up, featuring the names of the likes of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Rafael Leão and Nico Williams.

In the case of a deal not being financially viable for one of these three, however, a more affordable route will be sought out.

And expected to emerge front and centre in things in the case of as much is the aforementioned Leroy Sané.

As per a report from Sport, ahead of the expiration of his contract with Bayern Munich at the end of the season, German international Sané is again on the agenda at the Camp Nou.

The former Manchester City man, labelled as boasting a ‘special relationship’ with Barcelona boss Hansi Flick, is considered the kind of differential player who could make the difference for the Blaugrana in tight fixtures in 2025/26.

No concrete steps towards a deal for the 28-year-old have yet been taken, but Deco and the Barca transfer team are watching on from afar, ready to pounce if the opportunity presents itself.
