Jadon Sancho named the best player he’s played with in a recent interview and it’s not one of his current Chelsea team-mates.
Sancho arrived at Chelsea on deadline day in the summer on an initial loan deal from Manchester United, which will become permanent for around £25m providing the Blues don’t finish in the bottom six.
The England international made a good start to life at Stamford Bridge and registered three assists in his first three games.
The 24-year-old scored his first two goals for the club against Southampton and Tottenham, but along with Chelsea’s form, Sancho’s form has also dropped in recent weeks.
The winger hasn’t registered a goal contribution since the 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace at the start of January, with John Obi Mikel warning Sancho he can’t afford to relax.
Maresca hailed Sancho as a special player earlier this season, and the Blues could do with him rediscovering his form from when he first arrived at the club.

Sancho has played with some incredible players during his career, who he would have learnt a lot from, and in a recent interview he was asked who the best player he’s ever played with was.
“I’ve played with a lot of great players but if I had to choose one, it’s Cristiano Ronaldo,” he told Sky Sports.
“What he talks about in his interviews is all true.
“To play with him was a real honour. Just his mentality, how he trains and goes into games. It’s really inspirational.”

Ronaldo is no doubt one of the greatest to play the game and to have played with him is an honour for any footballer.
Sancho is currently playing with some top players at Chelsea including the likes of Reece James, Moises Caicedo and Palmer, but they are unlikely to be disappointed at being overlooked for Ronaldo on this occasion.
