A Barcelona-linked Premier League manager is about to become available | OneFootball

A tactician heavily linked with the manager’s job at La Liga giants Barcelona is set to depart his current club over the days ahead.

The coach in question? Roberto De Zerbi.

Italian mastermind De Zerbi was of course hotly tipped to replace Xavi on the bench in Barcelona in the months prior to the latter going back on his decision to depart upon the season’s close.

With Xavi’s place on the Blaugrana hotseat now considered to be back up in the air, it will in turn no doubt be of interest to those of a Barca persuasion to hear that De Zerbi will imminently hit the market.

As per an official statement across the website and social media platforms of Premier League outfit Brighton & Hove Albion, the club’s beloved headmaster ‘will leave the club after tomorrow’s final Premier League match of the season against Manchester United’.

The days to come will no doubt see speculation rampant as to De Zerbi’s impending landing spot, with the likes of Bayern Munich, AC Milan and, potentially, the aforementioned Barcelona seeking out new tacticians.

Could the 44-year-old be the man chosen to take up the reins in Catalunya’s capital in 2024/25?
