5 Real Madrid, 3 Barcelona: La Liga Team of the Season announced | OneFootball

The official La Liga Team of the Season for 2023/24 has on Friday been unveiled.

And a whole host of performers from Spanish football’s leading clubs have seen their respective exploits recognised, by way of inclusions.

Leading the way when it comes to representatives, unsurprisingly, are Real Madrid.

After romping to the La Liga title, all of Dani Carvajal, Antonio Rüdiger, Federico Valverde, Jude Bellingham and Vinícius have been named among the 15-strong panel of stars.

Next up come surprise package Girona with four inclusions, in the form of Miguel Gutiérrez, Aleix García, Sávio, and Artem Dovbyk.

Xavi’s Barcelona see a trio of representatives, in Ronald Araújo, lkay Gündoğan, and Robert Lewandowski.

And rounding out the panel of stars are Antoine Griezmann from Atlético Madrid, Real Betis talisman Isco, and Athletic Club shot-stopper Unai Simón.
