The Burkina Faso national team is gearing up to face Djibouti and Egypt in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Ahead of the Burkinabé squad’s camp scheduled for September 1 in Ouagadougou, the coach sent a clear message about these two decisive clashes that could ultimately determine Burkina Faso's fate in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Brama Traoré placed special emphasis on the crucial encounter against Egypt, set for September 9 at 4:00 pm GMT. This match marks the grand return of the Stallions to the 4 August Stadium after a four-year absence, due to the venue previously failing to meet CAF standards.

The 62-year-old coach first acknowledged Egypt’s superiority, saying: "The match on September 9 will be a historic moment for our country. Egypt is a footballing powerhouse, and Burkina Faso has never beaten them."He then issued a passionate call to the Burkinabé people.

Together, let's achieve what we never have against Egypt. Let's turn this stadium (4 August Stadium) into hell for all our opponents.
