Although the 2025 summer transfer window is yet to open, FC Barcelona are already quite active in the market as they look to strengthen their team for the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, the Catalans are also working on some departures to ensure they generate the required FFP margin to register their new signings with La Liga for the next season.
In this regard, players like Ansu Fati, Pablo Torre, and Andreas Christensen are all linked with a move away from the club. Furthermore, some players from the reserve team and the youth academy can also find their way away from the Blaugrana club.
One such Barcelona Atletic player who is already close to a departure is the midfielder Noah Darvich, who is nearing a move to the German side VfB Stuttgart.
According to the journalist Florian Plettenburg, this move is already being considered a done deal, as the two sides are in agreement for a permanent transfer. In fact, the player’s medical with the Bundesliga side is set to take place today.
The journalist goes on to reveal that the midfielder will sign a contract till 2029 with Stuttgart. Barcelona will not retain any rights on Darvich, as they will neither have a buyback option nor a right to match another offer to get a priority on the player. Furthermore, the Blaugranes are expected to receive only a small fee for the player.
The German had joined Barcelona with very high hopes, and there were no doubts about his ability when he joined in 2023. However, the player reportedly struggled initially to adapt to the Blaugrana style of play, but has been making progress in recent years.
Thus, this move comes as a surprise for most Barcelona fans. But they will still be wishing Noah Darvich the best of luck as he embarks on this next chapter in his career.
