Arsenal travel to Stamford Bridge tomorrow to face Chelsea, and they will be very desperate to bounce back from back-to-back defeats across all competitions when they take on the Blues.

The Gunners lost 1-0 to Newcastle United in the Premier League last weekend before suffering another 1-0 defeat to Inter Milan in the Champions League during the week, and they need to pick up all three points against Chelsea to keep their title ambitions alive.

Arsenal have been boosted with the return of Martin Odegaard after almost two months without him, but another player was spotted in first-team training ahead of the trip to West London.

14-year-old Max Dowman was seen alongside Ethan Nwaneri and others, and while he is unlikely to be part of the squad on Sunday, seeing him training with the big boys speaks volumes.

Arsenal have some talented youngsters in their academy, and Dowman could be next to follow the likes of Nwaneri to break into the senior team.

The Gunners under-18s starlet made history in the UEFA Youth League in September, scoring against Atalanta aged 14 years, eight months and 19 days to become the youngest player to find the back of the net in the history of the competition.

Dowman could now be on course to beat the record set by Nwaneri when the 17-year-old became the Premier League’s youngest player after coming on as a substitute against Brentford in September 2022 aged 15 years and 181 days.

He will hope to keep impressing for the youth teams and whenever manager Mikel Arteta invites him to first-team training, and fans cannot wait to see him become a Premier League star going forward.
