Zlatan Ibrahimović has claimed that Pep Guardiola once ‘hid from him’ in the dressing room during his time at Barcelona.

The 38-year-old spent just one season at Barça, before being loaned out to Milan following a significant spat with the manager.

Zlatan has made no secret of his relationship with Pep and found time to dig the knife in once more.

“There was never any confrontation, he made sure of that,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport. “When we faced each other, he hid from me.

“I went back to the dressing room after the game and he was in a room waiting for me to leave. At the door, one of his assistants told him: ‘Ibra has gone, you can come out now.’

“He is phenomenal manager, but as a man…”

With his LA Galaxy contract expiring in January, Zlatan refused to rule out returning to Italy before retiring.
