Zinedine Zidane continues to reject coaching offers from suitors as he eyes the France national team job.

According to L’Equipe, the former Real Madrid manager turned down a €100 million offer from the Saudi Pro League (SPL).

The SPL has been attempting to enhance its global profile by attracting top-tier players and coaches with lucrative financial packages.

However, Zidane is not keen on the money. The 52-year-old has not worked since leaving Real Madrid in 2021.

He is still waiting for his chance to take the reins from Les Bleus manager Didier Deschamps.

Zidane has rejected calls from Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille, preferring to wait until after the 2026 World Cup to see if the France role becomes available.

Al-Nassr could be looking for a new boss after missing out on the AFC Champions League and failing to win any of the domestic cups.

Head coach Stefano Pioli has been linked to some of the vacant managerial positions in his native Italy, potentially opening the door for a managerial change.

Al-Hilal want a new manager. They have been sniffing around Inter Milan’s Simone Inzaghi, but a deal is difficult to get over the line.

They are also pushing hard to sign Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes.

Fernandes is more likely to accept the SPL offer than Zidane. Despite their aggressive recruitment and eye-watering offers, Zidane remains unmoved.

Until the France job becomes available, it appears the legendary midfielder will continue to play the long game, waiting in the wings for the one role that truly matters to him.
