Achraf Hakimi will remain at Borussia Dortmund for the rest of the season and will be in Zinedine Zidane’s plans when he returns.
Hakimi has shone during his first year-and-a-half in Germany, which has sparked rumours that the young Moroccan could return to Spain for the second half of the LaLiga campaign.
However, Zidane clarified that the 21-year-old will stay put for now.
“We’re happy because he’s scoring goals with his team,” Zidane said at a recent press conference.
“He has a great future in Real Madrid and we will see what will happen to him.”
Despite featuring at right-back, Hakimi has supplied nine goals and 12 assists in 51 appearances with the German giants.
He is currently under contract with Los Blancos until summer 2021.
