Zinedine Zidane has revealed he is “not bothered” whether people believe his Real Madrid are special or not.
The Frenchman is close to leading the club to their 34th LaLiga title, needing two wins from their remaining three games.
However, critics aren’t convinced about the ‘panache’ of this Real side, which seems to be built on defensive resilience and ‘grinding out’ wins.
However, Zidane doesn’t appear to be fazed by any of the criticism his side may face.
Speaking in a press conference ahead of the game against Granada on Monday, the 48-year-old said: “It doesn’t bother me or surprise me, it’s always the same debate.
“We prove in every game and every training session that we are good. We have to show it.
“Everyone will give their opinion on what they think of Real Madrid because it is the most important club in history and this will never change.”
Real Madrid will move four points clear of Barcelona again if they beat Granada.
