Zinedine Zidane will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season, according to the latest reports from Spain.

Marca, which has close ties to the European champions, has insisted that the French tactician is growing increasingly tired of the pressure put upon him by the Blancos hierarchy and is likely to depart from his head coach position in the summer.

The former Ballon d’Or winner has already won an amazing eight trophies in his short time in the Santiago Bernabéu dugout, but a poor start to the current campaign has seen his position become ever-more precarious.

Madrid are currently 19 points adrift of league leaders Barcelona, and are in fact closer to the relegation places than their Catalan rivals.

The Spanish sports daily has reported that the 45-year-old is set to depart the Spanish capital, and may well not see out the entire season.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino and Germany boss Joachim Löw are favourites to take over the role.
