Arsenal will face off against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium this Saturday evening as they try to secure all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Gunners suffered a narrow 1-0 loss away at Bayern Munich recently which knocked them out of the UEFA Champions League. Hence, the North London club would be desperate to put in a dominant performance on the road this weekend.

Mikel Arteta will once again opt for the 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make a couple of tweaks to his first XI for this game. Both Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus could get a chance to impress from the start of this contest at the Molineux.

Defence

David Raya will function in goal for the Gunners after conceding one goal in his last outing. William Saliba will continue to play alongside Gabriel at the heart of Arsenal’s defence as they try to keep the home side frustrated throughout the 90 minutes.

Ben White will fill in as the right-back while Oleksandr Zinchenko looks to impress on the other flank as the left-back. Arteta will ask both his full-backs to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Takehiro Tomiyasu will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Arteta will name a midfield three comprised of Declan Rice, Jorginho and Martin Odegaard as they try to establish their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park. All three of them need to be at their best if the Gunners are to come out on top at the Molineux this weekend.

Thomas Partey and Fabio Vieira will be named on the bench as they wait for their chance to influence the game in the second half if needed.

Attack

Gabriel Jesus will try to give a good account of himself on the left wing while Bukayo Saka tries to make a difference from the right flank. Kai Havertz will once again lead the line for the London giants in the final third. He would have to carry some of the goal-scoring workload for the visitors this Saturday evening.

Gabriel Martinelli will be available for selection on the bench and might come on in the latter stages if required.
