Zenit defender Dejan Lovren insists Croatia can win Euros

Former Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren says Croatia can win the Euros this summer.

Lovren, now with Zenit St. Petersburg, believes the experience of reaching the World Cup final three years ago holds his team in good stead.

Asked whether Croatia can win this summer's tournament, he told Sky Sports: "Of course, because we know what it is to go to the final, to the end, and what you need to be there with the best of the teams.

"We have changed a lot of players in the last two to three years, but I think the younger generation, they understand that without working hard for the colours of our national team you will not achieve a lot."

The Vatreni's will play their opening group game against England on Sunday June 13.
