According to Foot Mercato, Young Boys BSC have made a loan offer for Lille OSC winger Alan Virginius (20), who has been used sparingly by Paulo Fonseca this season.
Virginius signed for Lille as a promising prospect from Sochaux back in the summer of 2022, however, the France U20 international has yet to carve himself out a place in Fonseca’s plans. He has made just three substitute appearances in all competitions this season.
The French forward has changed representatives this season, and a January move now looks to be on the cards. Multiple clubs are interested in a move for Virginius. AS Saint-Étienne, Clermont Foot, FC Lorient, and Championship side Sunderland all have the Lille player on their radar, but it is Young Boys who are pushing hardest to sign him.
According to Foot Mercato, the Swiss club have sent a loan offer with the option to make the deal permanent for €4.5m in the summer. Should that option be triggered, Les Dogues would earn a sell-on percentage.
