A number of Sheffield United supporters were thrilled to see the passion on display from Paul Heckingbottom as shared on the club’s Twitter account following the Baldes’ second goal against Bristol City.
Heckingbottom managed to secure an excellent 2-0 win against Bristol City on Sunday to get his reign at Bramall Lane off to a perfect start. It was a much-improved performance from the Blades and they were fully deserving of the three points after producing a display with much more energy and positivity in possession against the Robins.
Sheffield United had 21 attempts on goal, but they did struggle to put the game to bed in the second period despite them always looking dangerous going forwards. However, with just one minute of normal time remaining, Billy Sharp came off the bench to finally add the second goal to secure all three points for the Blades and get Heckingbottom off to a winning start.
It was clear that Heckingbottom and his new coaching staff of Jack Lester and Stuart McCall were relieved to have finally scored a second goal to put the game to bed. The trio were seen passionately celebrating Sharp’s late effort in a video shared by the club’s official Twitter account following the 2-0 win against Bristol City.
Many Sheffield United fans loved the passion that was on display in the video and there were many who were suggesting that it was something the club had been lacking under Jokanovic.
