“You don’t know what you’re doing” – Graham Potter suffers more boos and negative chants from Stamford Bridge crowd

If Graham Potter thought a few wins was going to buy him some breathing room with the Chelsea fans, he thought wrong.

There’s no doubt there was some positivity after three wins and a draw, but at Chelsea each and every home win is essentially unacceptable, and that’s especially true against mid-table teams.

So Potter can’t have been surprised to hear more boos at half time – and chants of “you don’t know what you’re doing,” and “you’re getting sacked in the morning.”

The latter was started by the away fans, but the home crowd at Stamford Bridge were more than happy to join in with them.

The manager has been at great pains to keep his supporters on side, never criticising them and always emphasising their right to express their opinion and to have high standards. We don’t expect that to change now, even as the pressure builds once again.
