After watching Patrick Roberts rescue a late point for his side against Bristol City, he went through the normal duties of answering questions from journalists.

But this was to be no routine press conference for the Frenchman as it was interrupted by a section of the roof at the Stadium of Light collapsing!

Despite the Black Cats iffy recent form after a strong start, the roof isn't falling on them metaphorically at least.

They currently sit fourth in the Championship, five points off top spot.
