El Nacional Cat (h/t Planet Barca) has released a list of priority operations for Xavi Hernandez if he becomes the manager of Barcelona.

The club legend plans a very harsh summer for the squad, willing to move on with close to seven players in the summer: Luuk de Jong, Martin Braithwaite, Sergino Dest, Sergio Aguero, Samuel Umtiti, Clement Lenglet, and Phillipe Coutinho.

The long list of departures will help him make a fresh start in Barcelona, with a younger squad and no deadwood.

Alongside his mission to part ways with some club players, Xavi also plans on some new signings to bolster the squad ahead of the next season.

With the club currently struggling to find quality players in the forward department, Erling Haaland is a dream signing for Xavi, much like club president Joan Laporta. The Al Sadd coach is also on the same page as Laporta on signing Paul Pogba, who has been linked with Barcelona lately.

Moreover, reports claim that Xavi wants to recover the best version of Ousmane Dembélé. The Frenchman, if fit, can be a lethal weapon for any manager.

Ronald Koeman’s future has been in the air for the past few days. Cries to sack the Dutchman have been growing in volume since the defeat to Bayern Munich earlier this week.

Tensions between Koeman and Laporta do not help the Dutchman’s case. With so much tension in the air, it remains to be seen if Xavi is indeed contacted to take over the reins at Barcelona.
