Manchester United vs West Ham

In the first game of the weekend, Manchester United will host West Ham at Leigh Sports Village. The Reds have taken nine points from their opening five games leaving Marc Skinner’s side sitting sixth in the league. West Ham have secured just a single victory in the league so far, pulling off a 2-0 win over Brighton on matchday two. The four points see the Hammers go into the clash sitting eighth in the league. The two sides last met in March with the Reds securing a comfortable 4-0 win.

Tottenham vs Liverpool

Sitting level on points with Manchester City, Tottenham will welcome Liverpool to Brisbane Road. Matt Beard’s side head into the clash fourth in the table with just three points separating them from league leaders Chelsea. The two sides faced each other back in March with Liverpool coming away with all three points from the 2-1 win.

Manchester City vs Brighton and Hove Albion

After a disappointing defeat to Arsenal, Manchester City will host Brighton at the Joie Stadium. The 2-1 defeat saw Gareth Taylor’s side’s unbeaten run come to an end. The Sky Blues have dropped four points from their first five games of the campaign. The Seagulls currently occupy ninth spot having taken just four points from their opening run of games. The two sides last met in March with Taylor’s side securing all three points on the road.

Everton vs Chelsea

Sitting top of the table, Chelsea will face an away day to Everton at Walton Hall Park. The Toffees have taken four points from their opening run of games leaving them sitting tenth in the league. Chelsea is one of only two teams still unbeaten in the league with the only blight on their record coming in their nail-biting 1-1 draw to Manchester City. Emma Hayes’ side took all three points in the last encounter between the two teams, delivering Everton a thumping 7-0 defeat in May.

Bristol City vs Aston Villa

Sitting bottom of the WSL, Aston Villa will hope to claim their first points of the season as they take on Bristol City. The Villans’ last five league games have ended in defeat with Carla Ward’s side having conceded sixteen goals whilst scoring just four.

Bristol City registered their first win of the campaign in a nervy 3-2 victory away to West Ham. The two sides last met in the league in April 2021 with the match ending in a two-all draw.

Leicester City vs Arsenal

In the final WSL game of the weekend, Leicester will welcome Arsenal to the King Power. The Foxes go into the weekend sitting seventh in the table having taken seven points from a possible fifteen. The Gunners have suffered just one defeat in their domestic campaign, going unbeaten since their opening weekend loss to Liverpool. The two sides’ last encounter in May saw the Gunners take all three points from a 1-0 win at Meadow Park.
