WSL leadership up for grabs as Brighton Women welcome Man Utd | OneFootball

Brighton & Hove Albion will go top of the Barclays Women’s Super League on Saturday if they beat Manchester United, for whom just a point would put them in pole position.

Manchester United have won all their three games to date and are a point short of leaders Manchester City, Brighton are similarly close to the the top but having played a game more.

Manchester City meet Aston Villa in Sunday’s early game, with the visitors one of four sides still to claim a first league win this season.

Two of the others – Leicester City and Everton – go head to head, while West Ham take on Arsenal.

Liverpool face Crystal Palace, before Chelsea look to extend their perfect start in the late kick off against Tottenham.

The Championship table is typically tight at the top ahead of the weekend’s matches, with just one point between the leading quartet.

Birmingham City go to Southampton but second placed London City are without a game. Charlton are also goal-difference behind the Blues and away to Newcastle at noon.

Durham trail the top three by a single point before hosting Sunderland in the other 12pm kick off.

Sheffield United look to end a losing start of six games when travelling to Blackburn, while Bristol City entertain a Portsmouth side still to claim their first-ever Championship point.
