Another big name match-up on the weekend saw West Ham host Everton at Chigwell Stadium.

Despite both sides having a go in front of the net, neither one could find a way to break the deadlock and the points are shared.

One of the best chances fell to Martha Thomas who saw her header hit off the crossbar late in the second half..

With the result, West Ham sit ninth, just two points above the relegation zone and Everton sit fifth.

After Manchester United’s win, Arsenal needed to keep all three points against Brighton to maintain their Champions League position in the table.

It took until the half-hour mark for the hosts to find the back of the net as Jordan Nobbs put the ball past Megan Walsh.

Coming into the second half, Vivianne Miedema saw a chance go wide before Nobbs was able to grab her second of the night and secure the victory.

With the result, Arsenal stay in third while Brighton stay sixth.

Scorers: Mace 6′; Rowe 63′

Despite having just 30 per cent possession, Birmingham City were able to earn a point against Reading.

Thanks to some quick-thinking from Ruby Mace, the hosts found the back of the net just six minutes into the game forcing the visitors to make a comeback.

After the break, Reading continued to push for an equaliser and eventually found it when Rachel Rowe pounced on a loose ball in the box.

With the result, the hosts hover above the relegation zone in tenth while the visitors sit seventh.

Scorers: Toone 9′, 48′ (P), Press 19′, Sigsworth 31′; Kennedy 90+3′

Chasing the remaining Champions League spot, Manchester United knew they had to get the job done against Tottenham and came out flying.

Goals from Ella Toone, Christen Press, and Jessica Sigsworth had the hosts up 3-0 at halftime while the defense stood strong and limited the visitors to zero shots on target.

After the break, Toone scored from the spot to add United’s fourth but clean sheet hopes were spoiled as Alanna Kennedy scored a brilliant free-kick for Spurs in injury time recording just their second shot all game.

With the result, Manchester United sit fourth while Tottenham stay eighth.

With just two matchdays left in the season, the standings are tight at both ends of the table but there could still be some changes.

See you next Sunday.
