Manchester City women’s clash with West Ham Women on Saturday has been postponed after the club confirmed that there have been four positive COVID-19 cases in the squad.

It is also expected that Arsenal women’s meeting with Aston Villa and Tottenham’s fixture with Birmingham this weekend are also likely to be postponed due to COVID outbreaks.

On Wednesday, Arsenal asked for their clash with the Villains to be postponed after an unsanctioned trip to Dubai by some players reportedly led to a number of positive cases.

The FA confirmed on Monday evening that there were 15 new positive cases amongst 635 tests carried out across the Women’s Super League and Women’s Championship.
