Wrexham's intent to sign Bradshaw is clear and he could prove a valuable addition for Phil Parkinson's side.
Since Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney bought Wrexham AFC back in 2020, big-name signings have been a key factor in their tenure.
Their promotion to League One should only further their ability to attract better players and the latest to be linked to them is Millwall's Tom Bradshaw.
The 31-year-old has been plying his trade at the Den since 2018 and is closing in on 200 appearances for the Lions, but he seems set to move on this summer.
Rivaling Wrexham for his signature will be a host of other clubs, including Cardiff City. Other League One teams may be deterred by these bigger sides offering opportunities for their targets, but not the Red Dragons, who haven't had a problem with signing high-profile players.
This deal will be dependent on whether Bradshaw wants to continue in the Championship or not. But a drop-down to League One level may help him rediscover the form he has shown in previous campaigns.
Tom Bradshaw has always been one of those players floating between League One and the Championship. His exploits in the third tier speak for themselves, but he has never quite been able to transfer that persistent goalscoring to the division above.
He started his scoring in League One with Shrewsbury Town, where, after a few injury-hit campaigns, he was able to notch seven in 2013-14 despite the club's relegation.
Salop's demise saw Bradshaw join the Shropshire club's bitter rivals, Walsall, where he excelled over a two-year period.
In 86 games for the Saddlers, he notched 40 goals and helped the club to one of their best finishes in recent memory, as they missed out on promotion to Burton Albion by one point.
Since then, it has been Championship football for the striker, but he has only managed one campaign where he has scored more than ten goals.
A tireless forward, he could be of use to most clubs in the second tier, but the chance to recreate some of his best memories by joining Wrexham must be tempting.
Wrexham may not be desperate to sign a new striker with the trio of Ollie Palmer, Steven Fletcher and Paul Mullin all decent options, as well as Sam Dalby being there too.
Mullin has been a huge goalscoring presence for the North Wales side over the past three seasons, netting 100 goals since his arrival from Cambridge United. Despite this, he is unproven in League One, appearing just 20 times in the division.
Meanwhile, Fletcher and Palmer offer very different attributes, with both players part of Parkinson's plan to hold up the ball and link play.
For this reason, Bradshaw would be the perfect addition. In a similar vein to Wrexham's current number 10, he is a willing runner and will press the opposition's back line relentlessly in a bid to retrieve the ball.
In addition, his proven record in the division will be of great use to Wrexham. If able to revive his exploits, it will take the burden off Mullin and could even add more goals to an already free-flowing side.
