Mike Maignan has had no luck with injuries in his career, and the Milan and France keeper has seemingly suffered his latest against Slavia Prague in the Europa League.

The 28-year-old went down in the ninth minute after landing awkwardly on his leg, and got on-pitch treatment before the game resumed.

However, he could not continue much longer, eventually going off for Marco Sportiello in the 20th minute, just moments after Slavia’s Tomas Holes was sent off.

Maignan had just been called into Didier Deschamps’ French squad for the upcoming internationals, and his absence would serve as a major blow ahead of EURO 2024.
