The FIFA World Cup is undoubtedly the greatest sporting spectacle of them all.

First held in 1930, the football tournament has provided us with some of the greatest matches in history, with the very best in the business doing battle every four years.

In 2022, the World Cup will be held in Qatar, the first time it’s being hosted in a country that is part of the Middle East region.

It’s sure to be a feast of football once again, although it will certainly feel a tad weird having all the games played in the European winter rather than at the start of the continent’s summer months.

But there is a first time for everything, right?

Let’s get in the mood for the Qatar World Cup

The action in Qatar kicks off on November 20th with the host nation’s group match against Ecuador.

With that in mind, we’ve created a quiz to really get you in the mood for the upcoming World Cup.

And if you know your football well, it shouldn’t be too challenging either.
