Both Qatar and Senegal face a potential knockout from the FIFA World Cup, as they take on each other in an important clash on Friday.
Qatar, despite a spirited second half showing, fell to a 2-0 defeat to Ecuador in the first game of the tournament at the end of last week. Senegal meanwhile, had lost 2-0 to the Netherlands, who will take on Ecuador in their game later today.
With Senegal at third and Qatar rock bottom of the table, a loss for either one of them could almost nullify their chances of making it to the next round of competition.
