Tottenham could be without defender Ben Davies as the Premier League returns to action on Boxing Day.
According to football.london, the Welshman picked up an issue at the World Cup and is set to miss around four weeks.
Davies was substituted during Wales’ defeat to England in Qatar and the report says he suffered a stomach muscle injury.
The 29-year-old has started 11 of Spurs’ 15 Premier League games so far on the left of Antonio Conte’s back three.
The news is a blow for Conte, who does not know when fellow defenders Cristian Romero and Eric Dier will return from the World Cup.
Currently fourth in the Premier League, Tottenham face Brentford on Boxing Day before hosting Aston Villa on New Year’s Day.
