Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez was filmed venting his anger towards Louis van Gaal in the Netherlands dugout following Friday’s thrilling World Cup quarter-final in Qatar.
The South Americans progressed to the last four after a penalty shoot-out victory over their Dutch opponents.
Argentina had one foot in the semi-finals thanks to goals from Nahuel Molina and Lionel Messi, but a dramatic late brace by Wout Weghorst sent the tie to extra-time.
No further goals were scored in the additional 30 minutes, so the match was decided on penalties.
Martinez was the hero in the shoot-out, pulling off two stunning saves to deny Virgil van Dijk and Steven Berghuis.
Argentina scored four of their five spot-kicks, with Lautaro Martinez converting the winning penalty past Andries Noppert.
Argentina’s players were seen taunting their Dutch opponents immediately afterwards, although footage has since emerged which shows they were goaded throughout the shoot-out.
Messi was unhappy with Van Gaal and had words with the legendary Dutch coach after the final whistle.
And Martinez also gave Van Gaal both barrels as he left the Lusail Iconic Stadium pitch alongside his teammates.

Martinez was also critical of Van Gaal in an explosive interview with beIN Sports, saying the 71-year-old needs to “keep his mouth shut”.
Also aiming fire at card-happy referee Mateu Lahoz, the Aston Villa shot-stopper said: “The ref was giving everything for them. He gave 10 minutes for no reason. He gave a free-kick for them outside the box two or three times. He just wanted them to score, that’s basically it, so hopefully we don’t have that referee again – he’s useless.
“I heard Van Gaal say ‘we’ve got an advantage in penalties, if we go to penalties we win’ – I think he needs to keep his mouth shut.”
