Spain head coach Luis Enrique has admitted he loves Mikel Arteta, after seeing the Arsenal coach in the All or Nothing documentary.

The world got a good look at Mikel Arteta following the release of the All or Nothing documentary earlier this year, with his team talks earning a lot of focus across the length of the show.

For the fans, it was somewhat divisive. Many laughed at some of his more outlandish motivational speeches, bringing a light bulb into the dressing room or drawing a heart and brain holding hands.

But many found it endearing, and it’s hard to deny the team spirit Arteta’s methods have created at Arsenal.

Spain head coach Luis Enrique certainly appears to be a fan, plainly admitting as much on his Twitch channel this week.

“I’ve watched ‘All or Nothing’,” Enrique admitted (via GSFN). “I love Mikel Arteta.”

Pep Guardiola was another manager to reference the documentary as evidence of Arteta’s abilities as a coach recently.

Rio Ferdinand suggested Guardiola had “created a monster”, with Arteta now being so successful. But the City boss denied that.

“No, absolutely not,” Guardiola responded. “He was already! I know Mikel, they see him, the sporting director Edu and the club, how he works, we saw in the documentary. Rely on him, it’s a process.”

With Arsenal at the top of the Premier League and into the knockout stages of the Europa League after topping their group, there’s a lot to be excited about at the club under Arteta at the moment.

Whether neutral supporters were convinced by Arteta in the documentary or not, the Arsenal fans love him right now, and other coaches within the game seem to be impressed as well.
