Egypt bolsters squad ahead of U20 World Cup

Egypt U20 head coach Osama Nabih can now count on the services of three new players for the upcoming U20 World Cup.

According to the Egyptian press, the committee responsible for scouting Egyptian talent abroad has successfully convinced a trio to strengthen the U20 national team ranks.

The players in question are Karim Ahmed (Liverpool), Cam'ron Ismail (Arsenal), and Radouane Hamzaoui (Auxerre). These three rising stars have recently signed their first professional contracts with their respective clubs in England and France.

As a reminder, Egypt—fourth place finishers at the last U20 AFCON—will compete in Group A alongside hosts Chile, Japan, and New Zealand. The tournament will be held from September 27 to October 19, 2025.
