MIAMI – The Semifinals of the 2025 Concacaf W Futsal Championship are set, with the tickets to the inaugural Final up for grabs on Saturday at the Domo Polideportivo in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
The finalists will also qualify as the Concacaf representatives at the inaugural FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup Philippines 2025 between November 21 and December 7.
Costa Rica vs. Panama
Costa Rica and Panama meet in another high stakes encounter to add to their history.
Las Ticas claimed first place in Group B after two wins and one draw. Players like Karol Arias, Fabiola Ramirez and Ariel Barquero starred for Costa Rica to clinch a semifinal spot.
With two victories and one defeat, Panama finished as the second placed side in Group A. Las Canaleras proved to be one of the most resilient contingents in the tournament, proving their quick offensive reaction through the actions of players like Kenia Rangel, Ariadna Abadia and Gloria Saenz to reach their first semifinal.
Mexico vs. Canada
A North American battle between Mexico and Canada will decide the second finalist in the inaugural championship match.
Mexico arrives with three straight wins as the Group A winner and the only team with a perfect record. With 13 goals, the Mexicans boast the best offense in the tournament so far thanks to players like Itzel Garcia, Rosa Aguiar and Ericka Soto.
Canada defeated the United States to take second place in Group B and the final spot among the final four. Stephie-Ann Dadaille, Erica Hindmarsh and Yerlin Varela will seek to increase their respective tallies to defeat another continental rival. Alongside Costa Rica and Mexico, Canada has only allowed four goals to tie for the best defense in the tournament.
